Red Mosquito in Calgary
Mike holding that one note for a good 30 seconds in Vancouver during Indifference
Starting the "One More Song" chant in Saskatoon, and getting the band to play one more song
Not For You in Winnipeg
Being row one for London to have Stone shake his ass in my face, bark into the mic, and do some crazy ass shit with his guitar during RVM. Also having Ed right over top of me during Alive was also pretty cherry. Oh and I did I mention getting to hear BRY?
Harvest Moon for the first time with the girls from Sleater Kinney doing backup vocals and the band in full tuxedos
Stone singing Don't Gimme No Lip in Ottawa, the whole crowd was so into it
Hard to Imagine, probably one of my favorite Pearl Jam songs
Drifting Ed preset, see above
Halifax; the whole joke with the Alexander Keith's beer
What are some of your favorite moments from this tour?
Pre and Post party in Edmonton
The Rockies
The first half of the drive from Thunder Bay to Kitchener, the lakes and mountains of Northern Ontario are absolutely amazing, plus swimming in Lake Superior was pretty amazing.
Sleeping in the van
Wandering around Montreal, first time with Joe and Dirk, second time with Tatiana
Drive to Ottawa, even if I was the only one driving (and only sober one) it was still a blast
Atlantic Canada; amazing scenery, amazing people, and one hell of a party. Not to mention we got to go surfing!
Quebec City, was a awesome town, feels like you are in Europe.
Additional Comments
This tour was one of the best months of my life. As the saying goes the journey is often more important than the goal. While the shows were all really amazing, traveling and going on so many different adventures with a group of incredible people really made this trip what it was. I think it is a testament to this trip, and the crew we had, that at no time throughout the trip did we ever get into a fight, nor have much conflict in the van. Everyone meshed really well and despite being mostly complete strangers it felt like we had all been old friends. Thanks to everyone for joining us and making this a trip truly to remember.
